UofL is proud to announce the launch of two new online leadership programs. Both programs deliver current and future leaders of either the healthcare and higher ed industry skills they need to further their career.

Read on for details on the newly launched Master’s in Health Administration and Cert. in Organizational Change in Higher Ed.

The healthcare industry continues to grow and change, with everything from advancements in technology to changes in the standards of patient care regularly shifting.

And it’s today’s health administrators who are responsible for leading the charge in embracing these changes.

The executive MSHA online program prepares healthcare professionals with 5+ years of experience to take on that challenge.

Healthcare is evolving. You should be too.

The curriculum expands on expertise in healthcare management areas like HR, economics, marketing and policy, as well as deepens understanding of processes, environments, structures and strategies that are disrupting the industry.

Notably, the program places a strong focus on assessments that emphasize solving authentic, real-life problems these executive-level students face within your current role.

UofL’s military-focused online programs brochure wins UPCEA Gold Award

UofL’s military-focused online programs brochure wins UPCEA Gold Award

The University of Louisville was once again recognized by UPCEA for its creative marketing targeting online military students. The booklet “Keep Moving Forward” won the Gold award in the “Brochure/Booklet” category.

The winning piece is specifically designed to address the benefits of online learning at UofL for current or past active-duty military and service members. It was one of the hundreds of exciting creative pieces submitted for the marketing award.

This brochure was part of an important and ongoing effort to support awareness and recruiting efforts for online programs with our active-duty and veteran population. The customized piece presents content that targets the needs and desires of service members interested in pursuing an online program in a flexible, affordable and convenient manner at a reputable R-1 research institution.

This marks the team’s second consecutive win with UPCEA, the leading association for professional, continuing and online education.

About the Brochure

The main objective for this 6×6 four-fold brochure is to provide concise essential information at-a-glance and serve as a quick-reference or leave-behind collateral for UofL Online recruiters, education services representatives on military bases, and faculty or staff who interact with military audiences.

The cover page features an image of the university president’s hall and the call to action “Keep Moving Forward” to encourage prospective students to continue growing in their career. It also features a military-friendly school seal awarded for 2019-2020 period by MilitaryFriendly.com for UofL’s commitment to facilitating a smooth transition from military life to student life and providing quality education on campus and online. The inner panels highlight the advantages of learning online, some of the school and program rankings (i.e., US News & World Report; Kiplinger’s top 100), available online programs and student support services, and a direct link to application and admission information.

The creative aligns with the university branding guidelines, using UofL’s color scheme and typography in a bold design, with high contrast that allows the information to stand out. The use of images of actual UofL students who are not in military uniform was intentional, to induce a sense of life after — and outside of — service.

UPCEA Awards

The UPCEA Marketing Awards recognize the best marketing practices and promotional pieces, as well as enrollment excellence, in the field of professional, continuing, and online education. UPCEA members enter their finest work for the academic year in the awards competition. A panel of marketing, communication and design professionals review each piece against a standard set of criteria. The panel then chooses recipients and announcements happen each fall.

The two consecutive UPCEA gold award wins for the online learning team at UofL show the team’s creativity and drive for excellence. Last year, the team won gold for their Winter Session campaign.
